Funding Sources

Funding comes from voluntary contributions from creditors who participate in Debt Management Plans (DMP). Since creditors have a financial interest in getting paid, most are willing to make a contribution to help fund our agency. These contributions are usually calculated as a percentage of payments you make through your DMP. However, your accounts with creditors are to be credited with one hundred 100% of the amount you pay through us. We work with all creditors, regardless of whether they contribute to our agency.

Dual Role Disclosure

Our Debt Management Programs are voluntary and serve the dual role of helping you repay your debts and helping creditors receive the money owed them.

Debt Management Program Duration Disclosure

All debts and the proposed payments to each creditor are included in the Proposed Repayment Plan. The anticipated number of months to liquidate the debt is 36 months; however, the Debt Management Program can take as many as 48 or 60 months to complete. Monthly payments must be made in full and on time.
